It is noteworthy that 86.84% of the gold in this sulfide gold ore is encapsulated in the sulfides, according to the chemical phase analysis of gold (Fig. 1 (c)). This indicates that this gold ore is a typical refractory sulfide gold ore (high sulfur) and requires pretreatment to destroy the sulfide inclusions to expose the encapsulated gold.
